Dear Mr. Hinrichsen:
I hope that in the meantime you have received

But there is so much a musician would like to
have that it is hard to know where to start.
Even Mr. Schoenberg who has an extensive library
finds many things lacking when reading through
the catalogue. Enclosed you will find a list of the
works he would very much like to have – of course
not all at once, but every now and then, whenever
you are inclined.

May I send you my list a little later this week
after thinking over carefully my selections?
